Colorado, US-based extreme metallers ENEMY REIGN will release their critically acclaimed Means To A Dead End EP in Europe through Neurotic Records. The EP was recorded by Dave Otero at Flatline Audio (Cephalic Carnage, Martriden, Cobalt et al) in 2008 and, until now, self-distributed through the ENEMY REIGN online webstore. The European version of this EP will contain one newly recorded exclusive bonus track entitled "If The Truth Hurts...Suffer." The European version will also have exclusive art work and other bonus materials.
Already a gem among underground metal fans in the know, Metal Hammer compared the EP to, "being repeatedly punched in the face by a ramrod." Terrorizer called the band "admissibly ferocious, hate-filled and avenging" and crowned Means To A Dead End, "a hard-hitting metal release, which more than deserves to be checked out on its own accord" while Hard Times Canada added, "this is deranged and technically-meticulous death metal for outcasts and non-believers with a discerning taste for standout extreme music."
In conjunction with the EP's European release, the band will appear on the 2010 edition of the Neurotic Deathfest featuring Bolt Thrower, Carcass, Dying Fetus, Insision, Lock Up, Napalm Death and Origin (among many others), followed by a tour throughout Europe (dates TBA).
The band is currently working on their as-yet-untitled debut full-length. Further details to be unveiled soon. Stay tuned.

"Here we have a band that sprung from literally nowhere by popular conventions, and landed on all fours like a tiger, hungry to devour any and all living creatures in its sight. Before the band’s pedigree is further addressed the central element at hand, Enemy Reign’s infectious concoction of crossover death metal, must be brought to the forefront. There are many death metal bands out there, some very popular, who admittedly only listen to the style they purvey. And, for better or worse, it reflects immediately in their output; blastbeats and buzzsaws in, blastbeats and buzzsaws out.
Enemy Reign draw together classic early-90’s rolling death metal ala Bolt Thrower, Sinister, Malevolent Creation, Deicide, and Cannibal Corpse, fuse it with extreme thrash in the vein of Exhorder, Demolition Hammer, and Solstice, integrate trademark N.Y. death metal like Pyrexia, Skinless, Internal Bleeding, and Suffocation which current deathcore leaders Despised Icon readily admit to being the foundation for their approach, and topped off with an unmistakable layer of east coast hardcore in all its injury-prone moshing glory.

 LOCK UP, BEHEADED & ENEMY REIGN confirmed
for Neurotic Deathfest 2010
The grindcore supergroup LOCK UP featuring At The
Gates frontmanTomas Lindberg, Anton Reisenegger of
Pentagram and Criminal on guitar, Napalm Death bassist
Shane Embury and ex-Dimmu Borgir and Testament
drummer Nick Barker have been confirmed for Neurotic
Deathfest 2010. This will be the first LOCK UP show on
Dutch soil in almost ten years.
Furthermore BEHEADED from Malta has been confirmed,
as well as the new kick ass band of ex-Skinless vocalist
Sherwood Webber called ENEMY REIGN. The latter will
perform their very first European show ever on Neurotic
Deathfest 2010.
The total list of confirmed acts so far is: BEHEADED, BENEATH THE MASSACRE, BOLT
THROWER, CARCASS, DEFEATED SANITY, DYING FETUS, DR DOOM, ENEMY REIGN,
INSIDIOUS DECREPANCY, INSISION, HUMAN MINCER, KICKBACK, LOCK UP, NAPALM
DEATH, NOX, ORIGIN, REVOCATION, SIX FEET UNDER, and VIRAL LOAD.
There will be a total of 40 bands performing.
